Winner

The winner of my Christmas lottery is found.. My father was the Mr Fortuna and the winner is.............................. Reija!! In a way that makes sence because she is the one who has commented the most, so congratz for the winner. But I want to thank all of you people who have been reading and leaving comments to me to my project blog. Next project will probably be ready somewhere around the New year.. I'm taking a short break in doing handicrafts. Besides, I still have to publish the actual presents I've been giving you hints of in my Christmas calendar. So I guess new projects will start appearing here in the beginning of the new year, 2010. I wish you a HAPPY NEW YEAR and I hope to see you commenting here next year again. Hopefully I come up with new tricks and treats to offer.. ;)

Merry Christmas

Had to really think which pictures I'll put in last because I've pretty much loaded up all the projects I've taken photo of.. So, again late with one picture. The top in the first picture is self-made. And the fabrics in the second picture I've already shown in my main blog.. The yellow one will turn into a hoodie after Christmas and the other one will probably end to kids pyjamas or something similar. These are the last pictures of my Christmas calendar. On 25th I'll pick the winner of the lottery so good luck everyone who have already left me a comment and those of you who haven't, you still have little bit of time left, so hurry, write anything. And MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all!!

Wrist warmer

This wrist warmer I made my father last night while watching the Swedish movie "Men who hate women" (Män som hatar kvinnor). Need to do one more for the other arm.

Skirt and pants

Once again I'm late with one picture. My nephew was visiting us yesterday so I totally forgot to send a picture. So, two pictures again. In the first picture I am with my younger brother John on his graduation party. I made that skirt to myself. The other picture is a bit older from my studying years in Rauma. The red pants are self-made, absolutely love them.

This graduation card I made my younger brother two years ago.

Tribal

This tribal I designed for my brother's use so that he could continue his old tiger tattoo but he didn't go for this.. or anything else for that matter. The old tattoo was supposed to be placed into the middle of this tribal.. So this picture hangs on my fridge door for now.. Like it even though my brother didn't.

This is an old picture I drew of a friend using a photo as my model.

Pink and violet

I was thinking here.. maybe if I keep myself busy this weekend and the beginning of the next week, I can come up with one more present. I could combine the pinks and violet shown in these pictures and the model on the picture in left. We'll see how this goes..
Edit: I got these ready the night after Christmas day.

Oldies

Since I've pretty much already showed every Christmas present I've done so far, picture today shows some of my old drawings. I got these photo albums few years ago but on the covers were some dull adverts so I took my drawing kit and made these pictures to hide the adverts. The albums have pictures of a Finnish band named Wärtzilä which I like.

Batman blue

I owe you two photos because apparently my internet connection doesn't work abroad.. So here comes. The first picture is a present of that same icy blue coloured yarn I've already used to at least two other presents. The other picture is the envelopes I decorated with silver Christmas trees..

At the Pooh corner

This present is hopefully saving one from ear infections.. I could use one like this myself.

Black and red

Isn't Christmas all about the red colour..?! Well, this combination with black and red is one of my favourites, although I prefer darker red if it's for me to wear.. :)

Cool & The Gang

More of the jeans blue.. My original plan was to make myself something of this icy blue, but seems like that's not going to happen.. Hopefully at some point I get so much time that I get to do something for myself as well.. Because I have material for at least two pullovers and two pair of woolen socks.. Going to make some time for it soon but in the meanwhile don't forget to leave a comment before Christmas.. The lottery is still on and you might end up with a pair of woolen socks made by me.. or maybe mittens if you so prefer..

Pearly

Small but beautiful present to a friend.

Unbounce Tigger

In this present Tigger turns blue.. pullover to my nephew. It still is a bit too big but he's growing so fast that it is better that way.

Rudolf the red..

This isn't actually a present but a Christmas card. I made it myself and it is part of Christmas preparations. Sent only ten Christmas cards this year, all looked alike but had different texts inside.

Shake that pelvis

I suppose this present doesn't need any explanations.. The title says it all. Dark violet and baby pink stripes combined with The King.. :D Made these to my father's wife, Kristiina, the biggest Elvis-fan I know..

Yellow submarine?

This present is cute already as it is but I was thinking that maybe I'll add something extra to it.. something red and black maybe..

English licorice

These socks are for one of my dearest friends, Ellu.

Rock aid

This present I haven't finished yet but already it is so amazing that I simply must do one more to myself. Actually, if I had more fake leather jackets and zippers, probably all of my rock-orientated friends would get one.. :D

Sammal

The title of this blog entry is Finnish and it means moss. And as moss is soft and green, so are these mittens.

..violets are blue..

And so the December is here; it's raining and the wind rattles my windows. This one is for my little sister.

Edit: To make this even more interesting I came up with an idea.. Lottery between those who have left comment during December, before Christmas. Woolen socks as price.
